Beautiful atmospherics . . . are you using pastels or oil pastels? The color is so intense I'd think oil, but I could be wrong. I'm definately buying a set to play with.

Thanks for your comment. I only use Sennelier soft half stick pastels. I've used oil, but cannot get the color. I'll put up a few oil samples.
Oh, that's great. I MUCH prefer regular pastels and I'm blown away by the color coming from a non-oil product. Why do you prefer half-sticks? Any reason other than Economics?

The regular sticks come with a paper wrapping. Often I use the entire stick to lay down color, and when I peel away the paper the stick crumbles. If you should consider Sennelier call up Dick Blick art supplies, they are at least half the price of anyone else.
Ahhh, makes sense. Yup, I shop Dick Blick too, thanks for the tip.
